Seasons of Loss: Navigating Queer Holiday Grief

We’ll begin by acknowledging the unique challenges of grieving during times that emphasize togetherness and joy. Through guided reflection, journaling, and community conversation, participants will be invited to name what this season brings up for them and explore ways to care for themselves through it. We’ll also discuss queer and chosen family traditions, and how to reshape or reclaim holiday rituals that feel aligned and affirming.

Themes we’ll explore:

  • Understanding the cyclical nature of grief

  • Navigating expectations, loneliness, and memory

  • Creating affirming rituals for the holidays

  • Finding belonging in community care
